CivicRec does not currently support internal transactions on mobile view. If processing internal payments using a mobile device like an iPad or iPhone, the transactions will need to be hand-keyed using the desktop view.
For EMV (Card/Debit) Payments, some processors have their own software that the card reader communicates to through CivicRec. There can be software limitations for these programs to be installed on a mobile device as they may not be coded for iOS and/or AndroidOS.
Alternatives
- Use the Desktop View on the mobile device and manually enter card information.
- Note: The amount of information you need to collect on your payment gateway’s hosted form is dependent on your Payment Gateway provider.
- Use a laptop or Microsoft Surface with Windows 10 installed, which will allow you to connect to your card reader in the field.
