CivicPlus Pay + Tempus for Recreation Management

Tempus is one of the payment gateways supported by CivicPlus Pay. Below is information about the available features and how CivicPlus Pay and Tempus work with Recreation Management.

Important Note

To increase security, CivicPlus has added managed challenges (CAPTCHA) to CivicPlus Pay. Before reaching the hosted payment form, users may see a security screen like the one below:

Checkout Process - Internal

eCommerce

  1. On the Payment screen, select the Credit/Debit option

  2. Review the Amount and click Continue to Payment

    • Overpayment: Select if the Amount listed is higher than the Total Charges.
  3. Before reaching the hosted payment form, you may see a security screen like the one below:  Checking if the Connection is Secure
  4. Fill out the card information

  5. Click Submit to complete the transaction

EMV

  1. On the Payment screen, select the Credit/Debit option

  2. Review the Amount and click Continue to Payment

  3. A Processing Charge screen will display; follow the instructions on your EMV device

  1. On the Payment screen, review the charges and select Continue to Payment

  3. Fill out the card information

Checkout Process - Public Mobile View

  1. Click Checkout in the cart
    checkout button
  2. On the Payment screen, select Continue to Payment

    • Save Card: This option will be selected by default, uncheck if you do not wish to save the payment method for future use.
  3. Before reaching the hosted payment form, you may see a security screen like the one below:
