Auto Billing for Paused Memberships

Although it is not required, it is strongly recommended that users configure auto-billing before pausing their memberships. Auto-billing prevents the system from billing users who choose to pause their memberships during that period. With auto-billing, if a user misses two billing periods and then their membership is resumed, their membership term will be extended by two months and the payments will take place at the same interval in which they were taking place before.
Pausing a membership that does not use auto-billing will not extend the membership or alter due dates, and users may still be charged, even though their membership is paused.
