Change Password For Your Account

Overview

This article will show you how to change your password in CivicRec. The way you change your password depends on whether or not you can access your account.

Instructions

 

  1. Sign in to your CivicRec account
  2. Navigate to your User Profile > My Account
    Navigate_to_My_Account.png
  3. Hover over your name and click the edit icon
    Click_the_Edit_Icon.png
  4. Enter your desired password into the fields

    • Note: Your password must be at least 8 characters long
    • Note: Your password must contain at least 3 of the following:
      • lower case letters
      • upper case letters
      • numbers
      • special characters
  5. Click Save User
    Click_Save_User.png

 

  1. Click Forgot Password?
    Click_Forgot_Password.png
  2. Enter your email address
    Enter_your_email_address.png
  3. Click Submit
    Click_Submit.png
  4. Click the link in your email
    Click_the_link_in_your_email.png
  5. Enter your desired password into the fields
    Enter_your_password.png
    • Note: Your password must be at least 8 characters long
    • Note: Your password must contain at least 3 of the following:

      • special characters
  6. Click Submit
    Submit_Your_New_Password.png
