This article will show you how to create a new coach in League Management.
When a coach is assigned to a team, they can access the Coach Portal via their Account Dashboard. This portal allows coaches to manage their teams, contact team members, and view past sign-in sheets.
Important Note
- This feature captures a limited number of account fields (name, phone, and email). If you want the coach to fill out all required account fields, we recommend you create a public user account and then assign the coach to the team(s).
Instructions
- Navigate to Activities > League Management
- Expand a League
- Select Access League Management (basketball icon) next to a session
- Select the Teams tab
- Click Coaches > Edit next to the team you want to add a new coach to
- Click Create Coach
- Fill in the fields
- First Name: Add a first name
- Last Name: Add a last name
- Phone #: Add a primary phone number
- Note: Do not add any spaces, parentheses, dashes, etc.
- Email: Add a primary email address
- Note: The First Name, Last Name, and Email fields are required.
- Note: The First Name, Last Name, and Email fields are required.
- Click Create
- View your new coach
