There are two options for redeeming gift cards within CivicRec. Only one method can be selected, and this method will apply to all gift cards. This article will show you how to redeem a gift card with User Credit. In this method, when a customer purchases a gift card, they will be given a unique gift card code on their receipt. This code is then claimed by the customer and the funds are placed on the customer’s account as User Credit. This allows customers to keep track of the available funds.
View the Set Up and Redeem Gift Cards with Payment Type article for details on the second option.
