This article will show you how to use the Catalog function in Account Actions to pay on behalf of another user.
Important Note
When you pay on behalf of another user, it becomes more difficult to process the refund because you have to add the user to the payee's account to process a full refund.
Instructions
- Log in to Recreation Management
- Use the Search bar and select your desired user
- Under Account Actions Click Catalog
- Select an item to check out
- Click the Add To Cart button
- Click Checkout
- Fill out any Prompts or Waivers (will vary, depending on the activity/event)
- Choose a payment method under Add Payment
- Use the Payer Account search bar to search for and select the account you want to use to pay for the transaction
- Click the Complete Transaction button
- View the Transaction Receipt

Is there a way to pay for multiple transactions (say 2-3 participants from different households) in one cart? Thinking about card payments which can be blocked if we have 'duplicate' charges in quick succession.
