This article will show you how to ensure that your Payment Transaction Totals match the General Ledger (GL) Summary row in Reports.
Instructions
- Navigate to Reports
- Select Transaction Reports > Transaction Report
- Apply filters
- Note: Do not filter Transaction Reports down to a specific time. Our GL reports do not have a time component and can only filter by date. If you try to compare with the time filter on, the results will not be useful.
- Look at the Total
- To view the GL Report, click on Reports at the top
- Select GL/Revenue Reports > General Ledger Summary
- Apply filters
- Make sure that the General Ledger Summary matches the Transaction Total
