This article will outline how Recreation Management users can return an item that has been rented from the Equipment Rental Dashboard.
Important Note
- You must be logged into the location where the item is assigned to view checked-out equipment, Upcoming Reservations, or Current Inventory.
Instructions
- Log into Recreation Management
- Use the drop-down menu in the top right corner to select the location where the item is assigned
- Navigate to the Equipment Rentals tab, and select the Rental Item Dashboard
- In the Checked Out table, under Actions, select the vertical ellipsis (three vertical dots).
- Click Return Item
- Enter any notes or comments on the return pop-up window
- Click the Return button to return equipment to inventory
- The checked-out inventory is now removed from the dashboard since the item has been returned

It would be nice if a receipt could be auto-generated for a return as well.
I agree an auto receipt for returns would be helpful
