Cardpointe is one of the payment gateways supported by CivicPlus Pay. Provided below is information about the available features and how CivicPlus Pay and Cardpointe work with CivicRec.

Cards on File
Follow the instructions to Add a Card on File to a Rec account. Only ECOM (eCommerce) payments can be stored outside of a transaction at this time.
Important Notes
- Do not press the back button when processing payments.
- To increase security, CivicPlus has added managed challenges (CAPTCHA) to CivicPlus Pay. Before reaching the hosted payment form, users may see a security screen like the one below:
Checkout Process
eCommerce
- Follow the instructions to process an internal transaction or a public transaction using the Credit/Debit payment type
- Fill out your card information and click the Pay button
EMV
- Follow the instructions to process an internal transaction using the Credit/Debit payment type
- Select an available Terminal and then choose to either Swipe/Insert/Tap Card or Hand Key Card
Public Mobile View
- Follow the instructions to process a mobile transaction
- Fill out your card information and click the Pay button
