Determine the Revenue Accounts Affected by Deferred Revenue

To determine which accounts were affected by deferred revenue for a given time period, add the General Ledger (GL) field Revenue Code/Description when running a Deferred Revenue Transactional Detail Report.
A debit to Unearned or Deferred Revenue can indicate a refund of an item that has not yet been recognized.
In the report above, $42 was refunded twice on 12/1/2020. The GL entries for the transaction would look like the following:
Below are the reversals for the original transaction. We would see credits in the unearned account on 12/21/20 and 12/22/20 with a revenue account listed of Teen Programs.
