This article will show you how to create a Volunteer Role. Once added, roles can be assigned to participants on Volunteer Opportunities.
Instructions
- Navigate to Activities > Volunteer Management
- Select the Role Management tab
- Click Create Volunteer Role
- Fill in the fields
- Description: Name/brief description of the role
- Color: Select a color to represent the role
- Note: If a color does not meet the minimum contrast to be accessible by all, a message will appear. You can click OK to continue with the color but it will not be ADA compliant.

- Click Save New Volunteer Role
- Assign a Participant a Volunteer Role
