It is important to ensure that your General Ledger Summary report has no unitemized line, features a GL Net of $0.00, and has a Debit Total equal to its Credit Total.
This article will show you how to view your GL report and view these features.
Important Note
- In order to view GL Reports, you must enable General Ledger Accounting.
Instructions
- Navigate to Reports
- Select GL/Revenue Reports > General Ledger Summary
- Apply filters
- Ensure that the report has equal Debit/Credit Totals, no Unitemized Line, and a $0.00 Net Total. If it doesn't, check out the resources below to troubleshoot any discrepancies.
- Note: The Debit, Credit, and Net columns will always show four decimal places, however, the totals will show two decimals.

I am looking for a General Ledger Summary Report for 10-1-2023 to 10-31-23. I do not know what "fields" & filters I should choose. Each time I choose different items and none of the reports are the same.
Can you help?
Thank you,
