Create a Practice Schedule

Overview

This article will show you how to create a Practice Schedule. In Practice Schedules, teams will practice by themselves and not with other teams.

Instructions

  1. Navigate to Activities > League Management

  2. Expand a League

  3. Click the basketball next to your desired session to Access League Managment

  4. Navigate to Game Schedule

  5. Click Settings

  6. Select Create New Schedule

  7. Click on the Settings page

  8. Name your new schedule, generally something to do with "Practice"

  9. Click Save

  10. Select Step 1: Matchups > Auto-Create Matchups

  11. Fill in fields

    • Number of Games Per Team: Enter how many practices each team will have
    • Matchup Type: Select Practice
  12. Click Create Matchups

  13. Select Step 2: Time Slots > Configure Schedule

  14. Click Add To Schedule

  15. Fill in fields

    • Facility/Field: Add facilities/fields with the drop-down menu
      • Add Another Facility: Click to add multiple facilities/fields
    • Game Date & Time: Add Dates and Times
      • Add Another Time Slot: Click to add multiple time slots 
    • Recurrence: Choose a recurrence option (None/Single Game, Daily, Weekly, Monthly, Yearly)
  16. Click Save

  17. Drag-and-drop practices onto the schedule

    • Note: Practices must be manually assigned.
    • Note: To replace a matchup, drag-and-drop another match on top of an existing one to swap them out. You must click OK to a pop-up to confirm the swap.

  18. Click on the Hazard Sign to view conflicts
