Remove/Archive POS Items

Overview

You can delete POS items/groups, which will flag them as inactive and hide them from use in the CivicRec Catalog. This will not affect past transactions and receipts.

As of September 1, 2015, the only way to restore deleted/archived POS items is via Support request. 

Instructions

To Remove Item

  1. Navigate to POS Items

  2. Select the category that the item you would like to remove is under

  3. Select the red to remove the item

  4. Select OK to the Delete this POS item? pop-up window

To Archive Item

  1. Navigate to POS Items

  2. Select the category that the item you would like to archive is under

  3. Select the pencil icon; this will direct to an edit screen

  4. In Basics > Additional Settings, check Archive

  5. Select Save POS Item
