This article will show you how to assign a survey to an activity. Surveys can be sent a specific number of days before or after the end of a session. You are also able to assign a survey to a session that has already ended by setting the timing to the number of days that have passed since the end of the session.
Important Note
- Before you can assign surveys to activities, you must first create survey templates.
Default Survey Questions
Surveys currently ask the following:
- How would you rate {program}?
- How would you rate {organization}?
- How would you rate your instructor(s)?
- How would you rate the online technology used in the registration process?
- Do you have any additional feedback that will help us better serve the community?
Note: Numbers 1 to 4 are a rating out of 5; Number 5 provides a text entry box for comments.
Instructions
- Navigate to Activities > Activity List
- Expand an Activity
- Select Edit Session (pencil icon) next to the desired session
- Navigate to the Advanced tab
- Specify the Survey Settings
- Survey Template: Select the survey template you wish to assign to the session
- Survey Timing: Indicate the number of days and whether you would like the survey to send before or after the end of the session
- Note: If you enter 0 or leave the Day field blank, it defaults the survey to send the day the session ends.
- Note: If a session has already ended, you are still able to send out a survey by assigning the Survey Template and setting the Survey Timing to the number of days it has been since the end of the session.
- Select Save Session
