Create a POS Tab for the Catalog

Overview

Here is where you can create your POS Catalog tab. You can configure your tab to be viewable to Internal only, Public only, or have custom permissions.

Instructions

  1. Navigate to Configuration > Public View > Catalog Tabs

  2. Click the Create Catalog Tab button

  3. Fill in the fields:
    • Appearance:
      Rec_POS_CatalogAppearance.png
      • Tab Label: Enter the text that will label your Tab in the Catalog
      • Tab Color: Select a Tab Color
      • Show Internal: Show the tab on your internal Catalog
      • Restrict to Locations: If set, this tab will only show at the selected locations
      • Show Public: Show the tab on your public Catalog
      • Public Page Layout: Choose which layouts to display the tab on
    • Configuration:

      • Tab Type: Select your desired Tab Type
        • Note: Each Tab Type has different configuration options. All Tab Types require you select Access Groups.
        • Drop-In: Will display drop-in items; no additional configuration options
        • Merchandise: Will display merchandise items

          • Merchandise on Tab: Choose the POS Screen(s) you want your items to appear on
        • Registration: Will display activities

          • Activities on Tab: 
            • Click Add Item

            • Choose your item Category, Location, and Age Group

          • Activity Tags: Select which tag(s) to display
        • Rentals: Will display rentals

          • Locations on Tab: Select which location(s) to display
          • Facility Tags: Select which tag(s) to display
      • Access Groups: Select applicable access group(s)
    • Tab Content: Add item description

  4. Click Save New Catalog Tab
