This article walks through how to add instructors and their rates directly to an activity session. If needed, you can also Assign an Instructor to Multiple Activities.
Instructions
- Navigate to Activities > Activity List
- Expand an Activity
- Edit your desired Session
- Navigate to the Access tab
- Click Add Item in the Instructor section
- Fill out the instructor fields
- Instructor: Search and select for an instructor
- Rate: Set the percentage of the activity registration fees that the instructor will be paid
- Hourly: Add a fixed hourly rate
- Per-Participant: Create a fee per participant
- Don't Notify | Notify: Choose whether or not to notify the instructor when a user has signed up for the session
- Repeat steps 5-6 to add another instructor
- Click Save Session

When you choose to have the instructor notified when someone registers, they should NOT receive the entire receipt. If the person has signed up for other classes, it lists everything on the receipt. Could they only receive an email that says in the body, "So-and-so has registered for your class Title and Date" and not receive a copy of the receipt?
